Blogmas #2

Today was a productive day. Well, a productive shopping day.
I hadn't done any of my christmas shopping yet and since I had the day off I decided now would be as good a time as any to get it done.

I also wanted to go to this one store we have in Belgium, it's called 'DI'. I read online that they are the only store in Belgium that finally sells 'Real Techniques' brushes. I've been wanting to try them for ages, because everyone seems to really like them. I know I could have gotten them a long time ago if I just ordered them online, but I wasn't willing on spending €75 on their core colletion brush set. By the way, the set didn't have all the brushes I wanted. I also wanted the expert face brush which you would have to order seperately as it doesn't come in a set and let me tell you it would have cost me a ridiculous amount of money. And boy, I'm I glad I didn't. I found them in the store and the core collection brush set was only €26. I don't think that's a lot at all for 4 brushes. And that's a whopping €49 less than buying online #WIN!

Whilst I was in there I also found out that this specific store was the ONLY ONE in Belgium that sell 'The Balm' cosmetics. Imagine how excited I was! So naturally I spend way too much money in there, but oh well..
Little sidenote. You might want to keep your eyes on my blog as I'm planning on doing a givaway of some of these products. It's christmas for everybody right?

Back to the christmas shopping..
I knew what I wanted to get my brother, but that was about it. I had no idea what to get my other family members and I don't have very many days off anymore so I was getting a little stressed out that I wouldn't get their presents in time. I was even contemplating buying them gift certificates -which I'm against. I consider them 'lazy gifts'. You might as well just give the person the money- but guess what, a tiny miracle happened. I found everyone a gift I'm really pleased with.
I even found some cute gifts for some of my friends. You know the kind of gift you see and you immediatly think of them.

I'm really pleased with my finds and I can't wait to see the look on their faces when they open up their presents. Speaking of presents. The one my Benefit advent calender gave me today was a lot more exciting than the one I got yesterday. I got a ultra plush lipgloss in A-lister.

I think I'm gonna spend the rest of today working on future bloposts whilst listening to one of my favorite artists Bryan Adams. I'm trying to remember as much of the lyrics as I possibly can, because I'm going to his concert on saturday and I want to be able to sing along every song. I know all the classics by heart, but I want to be able to sing to every single song he plays that night. Does that make me weird? Who else does that?

Oh and one more thing I'll be doing today.. I'll be watching 'Are you the one' on MTV tonight. It's my guilty pleasure. I'm dying to know if they find all of their perfect matches. Last episode they only had 5 out of 10 and they only had two more chances to figure it out. Who else watches this show? Who do you think matches up.

How was your day today? Please let me know in the comments below or find me on twitter @_MakeUpDiary_
